Design Symbolism & Meaning
In Hinduism, an eight-pointed star, composed of two intertwining squares, is a symbol of Lakshmi. Each point representing the eight secondary manifestations of the goddess which preside over wealth, prosperity, good health, knowledge, strength, progeny, power and victory.
Lakshmi is also called Sri because she is endowed with six auspicious and divine qualities and is the divine strength of Lord Vishnu. Sri, as a Sanskrit word, is used in written and spoken language as a title of veneration for deities and as a polite form to address people.
May this Divine symbol of the Supreme be a blessing upon your body, mind and soul. May its essence be a protective and purifying agent throughout the day whenever you wear the T-shirt.
